What is GR5 titanium?
GR5 Titanium Plate, also known as Ti-6Al-4V plate, is a high-strength, lightweight titanium alloy product that meets the ASTM B265 specification for titanium and titanium alloy plates, sheets, and strips. Composed of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium, it is the most commonly used titanium grade in both aerospace and medical industries.
With a superior strength-to-weight ratio, excellent fatigue resistance, and outstanding corrosion resistance, the GR5 Titanium Plate is widely used in demanding environments, including aircraft structures, medical implants, marine equipment, pressure vessels, and performance automotive parts.
