Molybdenum development and utilization

Pure molybdenum wire is used in high-temperature electric furnaces and electric discharge machining as well as wire cutting; molybdenum sheets are used in the manufacture of radio equipment and X-ray equipment; molybdenum can be added to alloy steels to improve elasticity limits, corrosion resistance, and to maintain permanent magnetism, and so on. Molybdenum is one of the seven micronutrients required for plant growth and development, without which plants cannot survive. Animals and fish also need molybdenum, as do plants.
