Compared to steel, Grade 1 titanium sheet is considered a superior material due to its high strength and light weight. Grade 1 titanium sheet can only be drawn, not polished. The chemical symbol for Grade 1 titanium sheet is Ti, also known as SB 265 Gr 1. Grade 1 titanium alloy sheet is a silvery-white metal with low density and high strength. The main producing countries of Grade 1 titanium sheet are the United States, Russia, Germany, Japan, and France. Grade 1 rolled titanium sheets are used in the aerospace field according to ASTM B265/ASTM SB265 standards. Grade 1 titanium composite sheets were once widely used in aerospace materials and are now gradually penetrating many markets, including power plants and the watch industry. Grade 1 rolled titanium sheets are less prone to scratches, resulting in fewer scratches.
CP Grade 1 titanium sheet is an ideal material choice due to its light weight, good biocompatibility, ability to be deep drawn into desired shapes, and the ability to form seals through electron beam welding. B265 Gr1 is an unalloyed, low-strength titanium product with low oxygen content and good formability; this grade of titanium is commonly used in aircraft fuselages, heat exchangers, and seawater desalination plants. ASTM B265 Gr 1 titanium flat gaskets can be cold-formed using standard methods.
