Commercially available Grade 1 pure titanium tubing is among the softest and most ductile titanium tubing available, offering excellent formability. Grade 1 titanium tubing is primarily used in the marine and chemical industries, where components must withstand extremely harsh environmental conditions. SB 338 Grade 1 tubing has an ultimate tensile strength of 35 KSI (240 MPa) and a yield strength (0.2% deviation) of 25-45 KSI (170-310 MPa). Grade 1 seamless titanium tubing is also known as TA1, Grade 1 titanium, or Grade 1 tubing. Grade 1 titanium tubing is a non-alloyed, low-strength, low-oxygen product with excellent formability, widely used in chemical, heat exchanger, and desalination facilities.
Grade 1 titanium tubing is also ideal for manufacturing exhaust systems, pressurized air pipes, and water pipes. We offer titanium tubing with a wall thickness equivalent to 1.2 mm and diameters ranging from 51 mm to 102 mm (the most common exhaust system size). Therefore, these tubings are more stable and robust even at higher exhaust temperatures.
