In most engineering applications, Grade 1 titanium tubing has replaced heavier, shorter-lasting, or less cost-effective materials. Elements such as palladium (Pd), ruthenium (Ru), nickel (Ni), and molybdenum (Mo) can be added to Grade 1 titanium tubing to significantly improve its corrosion resistance. This is especially important in weakly reducing environments where Grade 1 titanium tubing may experience problems due to the lack of conditions for forming the necessary protective oxide film on the metal surface, thus necessitating the addition of these elements. Furthermore, to ensure high quality, these Grade 1 titanium tubing are manufactured in-house using premium materials, capable of deep drawing, and used in plate, frame, and tubular heat exchangers, as well as in plates for bonding volatile materials, replacing composite plates.
