Corrosion Resistant Titanium Plate Grade 12
Gr12 titanium alloy is a titanium alloy material, which is composed of pure titanium with 0.3-0.8% molybdenum and 0.6-1.2% nickel added.
Description
Grade 12 titanium alloy has the following characteristics:
- Low density: Titanium alloy has a lower density and is lighter than many other metal materials such as steel and aluminum, so it can provide high strength while reducing weight.
- High strength: Grade 12 titanium alloy has excellent strength and can meet the strength requirements of many applications.
- Excellent corrosion resistance: The alloy has good corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of many corrosive media, including acidic and alkaline environments.
- Cryogenic resistance: Grade 12 titanium alloy still maintains good mechanical properties under cryogenic conditions and has high toughness and strength.
- High temperature resistance: The application temperature range of titanium alloy is wider, higher than that of aluminum alloy. Grade 12 titanium alloy can work under high temperature conditions of 450-500°C for a long time. In the temperature range of 150-500°C, titanium alloy still has high strength and can be used for applications in high temperature environments, and the working temperature can reach 500°C.
- In general, Grade 12 titanium alloy has low density, high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It also has good low and high temperature properties.
