Grade5 alloy titanium sheet, formally known as Ti-6Al-4V (Titanium-6Aluminum-4Vanadium), is an alpha+beta type titanium alloy and is the most widely used of all titanium alloys.
Description
Grade5 titanium sheet has high tensile and yield strengths while maintaining good toughness, which allows it to withstand heavier loads and dynamic stresses while maintaining structural integrity. Despite the addition of alloying elements, Grade5 titanium sheet retains the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium, and is particularly good at combating chloride-induced localized corrosion, making it suitable for use in the treatment of seawater, chloride media, and a wide range of acidic environments.

Application areas:
