Isotopes

Molybdenum (Mo) is a metallic element with abundant isotopes, of which the stable isotopes include , , and molybdenum, each of which occupies a portion of the molybdenum in nature. The nuclear composition of these stable isotopes provides the basis for a variety of applications, from stable isotope tracing to materials analysis. At the same time, molybdenum has a number of radioisotopes, such as and , which play a role in areas such as medical imaging, nuclear reactions and radiotracing.
