Overview of molybdenum applications

Molybdenum is used predominantly in the iron and steel industry, which accounts for around 80% of the total consumption of molybdenum, followed by the chemical industry with around 10%. In addition, molybdenum is also used in the fields of electrical and electronic technology, medicine and agriculture, which account for around 10 percent of total consumption.
