What is GR5 titanium?

Grade 5 titanium round bars are made of titanium alloy with added aluminum and vanadium. This material exhibits extremely high corrosion resistance and is the most widely used grade of titanium alloy. GNEE is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Grade 5 titanium round bars, offering a complete range of specifications covering various sizes, shapes, and types. Its composition contains 90% titanium, along with carbon, iron, oxygen, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. This material composition enables the product to achieve a minimum tensile strength of 950 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 880 MPa. The specification for this grade is ASTM B348.
