What should be done with the leftover titanium rods?

1. Treatment of crumb-like residual materials
The process flow for processing scrap scraps is: scrap titanium scraps - crushing - cleaning - drying - screening - elimination of high-density metal inclusions - cloth - inspection - packaging and storage. The chips can be crushed by a herringbone gear roller crusher or a hammer crusher. Cleaning is done on a cleaning machine. Use a hot air dryer or electric dryer to dry the cleaned titanium chips. Titanium chips are screened in a double-hole screen. After screening, the scoop chips are first separated by an air separator, and then processed by a strong magnetic separator to eliminate high-density metal inclusions (alloy cutter heads mixed in titanium chips, etc.). Titanium chip distribution is carried out on a spreading machine to evenly distribute chips with differences in composition, geometric size, etc. The crumb-shaped residual materials that have been purified and passed the inspection are the recycled materials.
2. Treatment of lumpy residual materials
The process flow of processing bulk residual materials is: bulk residual materials - brand identification - fixed length dome cutting/cutting - elimination of surface contamination layer - inspection - packaging and storage.
1) Brand identification. Eddy current conductivity meters, steel inspection mirrors, mobile direct-reading spectrometers, etc. are used to identify blocky residues. Pure titanium and alloys can be quickly distinguished, and the elements contained in gold residues can be determined. The mobile direct-reading spectrometer can also directly and accurately measure bits. Vitamin content 3
2) Cutting/cutting to length adopts cutting methods such as shears and crocodile shears or self-cutting with fire.
3) Alkaline cleaning or ultrasonic cleaning machines can be used to treat surface oil stains and feM on plates, pipes, etc., and pickling or shot blasting machines can be used to treat surface oxide layers and pollution on forging blocks and other materials.
3. Vacuum consumable electric arc furnace smelting and recycling
Generally, electrodes with a certain strength need to be prepared first to prevent pieces from falling off during the smelting process. The four commonly used electrode preparation methods are:
1) Mix the crumb-like return charge or small-sized block return charge with sponge titanium and alloy elements, press it into an electrode block on a hydraulic press, and then weld it into a consumable electrode. This is vacuum consumable arc furnace recycling Return charge is the most commonly used method, and the addition ratio of return charge can reach 40%.
2) The returned charge of the same brand is bundled in a certain proportion to form self-consumption power f and the amount of return charge added can reach 100%.
3) The electrode block is used as the core material, and a certain proportion of plate and tubular return charge is bundled around it to form a consumable electrode. The amount of return charge added can reach 80%.
4) Consumable electrodes are made from ingot risers of the same brand and specifications through plasma argon arc welding, and the utilization rate of returned charge is 100%.
