During welding, the low carbon content of Hastelloy C276 seamless tubes minimises carbide precipitation to maintain the corrosion resistance of the welded structure.
In the weld heat-affected zone, alloy C276 tubing resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitates, making it suitable for most chemical processing applications under welding conditions.
