Products Description
Alloy 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that offers high strength, excellent workability, and outstanding corrosion resistance. The service temperature range is from cryogenic to 1800°F (980°C). Alloy 625 derives its strength from the solid solution strengthening of its nickel-chromium matrix by molybdenum and niobium.
Precipitation hardening is therefore not required. This combination of elements also provides excellent resistance to a variety of unusually severe corrosive environments and to the high temperature effects of oxidation and carburisation.
