During machining, particular attention must be paid to tool wear control (TiAlN-coated tools are recommended) and cutting heat management (high-pressure coolant). Critical mating surfaces are typically required to meet IT7 (±0.015mm) dimensional accuracy and a surface roughness of Ra0.8 or below to ensure smooth kinematic joints.
