The high purity of Grade 1 gives it exceptional ductility and cold-working properties, though it has relatively lower strength compared to Grade 2.

Grade 2 Titanium Bar: Grade 2 has a slightly higher oxygen content (≤0.25%) and includes small amounts of iron and silicon. This results in a 10-15% increase in strength over Grade 1, making it more suitable for applications that require higher strength without sacrificing too much ductility.

Grade 1 Mechanical Properties: With a tensile strength typically ranging from 240-370 MPa and a yield strength of 138-310 MPa, Grade 1 offers an excellent combination of formability and strength. Grade 2 Mechanical Properties: Grade 2 offers a stronger tensile strength (340-480 MPa) and a yield strength ranging from 275-415 MPa. Its elongation rate, however, is slightly lower (20%-30%). Corrosion Resistance Differences

Both Grade 1 and Grade 2 titanium alloys excel in corrosion resistance, particularly in environments with seawater, chlorides, and oxidizing media.

Grade 1 Titanium Bar: Thanks to its higher purity, Grade 1 performs better in reducing acids such as sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, making it ideal for chemical processing applications.
