The oxidation resistance of TA15 titanium alloy is comparable to that of TC4 titanium alloy. TA15 titanium alloy is stable and has good corrosion resistance under atmospheric conditions and in seawater. Usually titanium and its alloys have good corrosion resistance in oxidizing acids (e.g. HNO2). Corrosion in reducing acids (such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acid) is severe and increases with temperature and concentration. In alkaline media, titanium and titanium alloys have excellent corrosion resistance, and the corrosion rate is close to zero even under concentrated alkaline boiling.

Reference standard GJB2218A-2008 for bar and forging billet, and GB/T 3621-2007 for plate, the mechanical properties of Russian BT20 and domestic TA15 are basically the same.
