Gr7 titanium alloy pipe contains the element palladium, which significantly improves its corrosion resistance at high temperatures and in highly chlorinated environments.Gr7 titanium round pipe can be welded using a variety of welding methods such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas Shielded Welding), MIG (Metal Inert Gas Shielded Welding) and other welding methods, but proper shielding gases and process control are required. Although Gr7 titanium tubing is not as strong as Gr5, it is still adequate for many applications and has good toughness at low temperatures.
