The strength of Gr9 titanium metal tubing is slightly higher than that of TC4 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), but lower than that of Gr5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V). It has higher strength and rigidity, but is less flexible.
The hardness of Gr9 titanium alloy depends on the specific heat treatment process, and in general, the hardness after heat treatment is about 150~260HV.
