Description
Titanium and its alloys have a strong chemical activity, when the temperature exceeds 400C that is the beginning of the reaction with oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon higher than 600C when the reaction is violent. Oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon content increases will lead to the embrittlement of the weld metal and its alloys, so the TA2 tube welding gas protection is the key issue, while controlling the temperature of the weld and the heat-affected zone, to avoid overheating to produce coarse grains, overheating organization, resulting in a reduction in the mechanical properties of the metal.
