Grade 3 Titanium is a non-alloyed, high-strength titanium product with excellent corrosion resistance and good weldability, also known as Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 3. This titanium grade is primarily used for airframe and aircraft engine components.

Description

Grade 3 titanium is industrially pure titanium, with a titanium content of not less than 98.9%, and contains small amounts of iron, oxygen and other elements. It is stronger than Grade 1 and Grade 2, but still maintains good ductility. Grade 3 titanium performs well in a variety of corrosive environments, especially in oxidizing media. Grade 3 titanium is non-toxic and compatible with human tissue, making it suitable for medical applications.
