Description
Production process of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy bar
Raw material preparation: Select titanium sponge and other alloying elements (e.g. aluminum, vanadium, etc.) that meet the standard.
Melting: Put titanium sponge and other alloying elements into electric arc furnace for melting.
Forging: Heat the melted ingot block to the appropriate temperature and then forge it to obtain the required shape and size.
Heat Treatment: Holding at 900°C to 950°C for a period of time, followed by rapid cooling (usually water or oil cooled) to form a uniform microstructure.
Machining: The bar is machined to its final size and shape by turning, milling and other machining methods.
