Description
Heat Treatment of Grade 5 Titanium Round Bar
Solution heat treatment (solid solution treatment): typically between 900°C and 950°C, followed by rapid cooling to form a uniform microstructure.
Ageing treatment: Usually carried out between 480°C and 550°C, lasting from a few hours to a few days, to increase the strength and hardness of the material.

Precautions for storing Grade 5 alloy titanium rods
1. Moisture: Titanium rods should be stored in a dry environment, avoiding humidity, as moisture can cause surface oxidation.
2. Anti-corrosion: Although titanium has good corrosion resistance, prolonged exposure to certain chemicals may still cause corrosion. It is recommended that a rust inhibitor or packaging material be used to protect titanium rods.
3. Avoid scratches: Care should be taken to avoid contact with other hard materials during storage to avoid scratches or damage.
