Description
Tungsten rhenium alloy wire is a refractory material with good ductility and strength. Tungsten rhenium alloys have a high melting point of 3050°C and a high temperature recrystallization temperature of 1900°C, allowing them to be used in aerospace and temperature measurement applications. The addition of rhenium improves the ductility of the wire after recrystallization. Specific resistance as well as vibration strength are further improved. It has been widely used in the thermocouple market, connections, medical, aerospace, furnace, and heat treatment industries.
