Description
Tungsten wire is mainly used in incandescent lamps, tungsten halogen lamps and other electric light sources. Used in light bulbs for a variety of luminous body of tungsten wire, but also in the metallurgical process of doping a small amount of potassium, silicon and aluminum oxides, this tungsten wire is called doped tungsten wire (DopedTungstenWire), also known as 218 tungsten wire or not sagging tungsten wire.
Tungsten wire is generally drawn by various wire drawing dies. The main use is the manufacture of filament and high-speed cutting alloy steel, also used in optical instruments, chemical instruments and other aspects of the role.

The resistivity of tungsten filament is 5.3*10^-8. With its high melting point, high resistivity, good strength and low vapor pressure, tungsten is the best material for making incandescent filament among all pure metals. However, tungsten is hard and brittle, making it difficult to process. When the current through the tungsten filament is heated to a certain temperature, the resistance value of tungsten filament is also increased to a certain value (the general resistance value of the metal wire increases with the temperature).
