Inspection and Correction of Drawing Dies: Drawing dies require regular inspection and maintenance to reduce the occurrence of dents and protrusions and maintain stable conditions. The common practice is to use samples to check the bonding scratches on the blank holder and the condition of the machining surfaces (die radius, punch radius).
Inspection and Correction of Trimming Dies: The cause of dents and protrusions after the trimming process is the generation of iron powder during trimming. Therefore, it is essential to observe and avoid iron powder before stamping to prevent dents and protrusions.
Appropriate Robot Arm Speed: For semi-automatic drawing die production, when the drawing punch is at the lower die position and the robot arm speed is too fast, burrs may fall onto the upper part of the punch, causing dents and protrusions. Inspection of Sheet Cleaning Equipment: Before stamping production, it is essential to inspect and adjust the cleaning setup to ensure it can clean the sheet material more effectively. This is highly necessary, and attention must also be paid to the roller gap and the quality of the cleaning oil. The detailed method involves applying red paint to a steel plate and passing it through the cleaning setup. Then, inspect the pattern of red paint removal. If the removal rate does not meet the standard, the cleaning setup must be inspected and adjusted. If cleaning oil is insufficient, it must be replenished promptly.
