ZTC4 casting titanium alloy material introduction
Apr 07, 2024
ZTC4 alloy is a medium-strength α-β cast titanium alloy with good casting and welding properties as well as corrosion resistance, and is one of the most widely used cast titanium alloys at home and abroad. The alloy is used in annealed or hot isostatic state and can work for a long time below 350°C. It is suitable for manufacturing static aerostructural parts, such as magazines, brackets, shells, frames and so on. From the mid-1980s, with the development and application of hot isostatic pressing treatment technology, the quality of castings has been improved, and ZTC4 alloy castings have been applied to some rotating parts with not too high rotational speeds, such as supercharger impellers.
