Indonesian Client Conducts On-Site Inspection At GNEE Titanium Materials Factory
Dec 14, 2025
Last week, a delegation led by the Technical President of a renowned high-end medical device manufacturing enterprise from Indonesia visited the GNEE production base for a two-day audit and exchange. The visit focused on the quality of medical implant-grade titanium materials, culminating in the successful signing of a long-term exclusive supply agreement for GR23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) ultra-low interstitial medical-grade titanium tubes.
The client's audit was rigorous and meticulous, centered around one core principle: these titanium tubes will be used to manufacture next-generation high-precision spinal fusion devices and artificial joints, directly impacting patients' quality of life and safety.
The client's team went beyond generic standards, bringing their own more stringent internal material specifications. During the inspection, they focused on:
Material Purity:
In the spectroscopic analysis laboratory, the client repeatedly verified the oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and other interstitial element content data of our GR23 titanium tubes, confirming that they consistently meet standards lower than ASTM F136 to ensure long-term biocompatibility of implants in the human body.
Microstructural Uniformity:
Using high-definition electron microscopy, both parties observed the microscopic metallographic structure of the titanium tubes. The uniform, fine equiaxed α-β dual-phase structure ensures excellent fatigue performance and mechanical strength, which is critical for the long-term durability of implants.
End-to-End Traceability:
From the batch number of a vacuum arc remelted (VAR) ingot to the process parameters of each rolling batch, and finally to the independent inspection report of the finished product, our complete digital traceability system assured the client that every meter of titanium tube is traceable and risks are controllable.

The core product of this agreement is not generic titanium tubes but specifications tailor-made for the client's new-generation minimally invasive spinal fusion system:
Precise Outer Diameter and Wall Thickness:
Focusing on ultra-precision thin-walled tubes within the range of φ6mm–φ20mm, with wall thickness tolerances controlled within ±0.05mm to meet the final strength and lightweight requirements after machining complex hollow structures.
Customized Surface Treatment:
Both parties confirmed exclusive surface roughness and cleanliness standards suitable for subsequent sandblasting and acid etching (SLA) or laser etching processes to promote bone cell ingrowth and achieve biological fusion.
"Zero Contamination" Packaging:
Medical-grade cleanroom washing and vacuum packaging ensure that the product remains free from oil, grease, or particulate contamination from the factory to the client's production line.
This collaboration represents the highest recognition of GNEE's expertise in the field of high-end medical titanium materials. Fully aware of the significant responsibility, we have initiated the following specialized services:
Establishment of a "Medical Materials Dedicated Production Line":
Ensuring an independent, clean, and dedicated process from production scheduling to packaging.
Creation of a Joint Technical Archive:
Developing an exclusive material technical archive for the client to continuously monitor and optimize product performance.
Pre-production Material Support:
Providing small-batch, multi-specification pre-production material support according to the client's R&D cycle to accelerate the launch of their new products.
