Molybdenum Production Distribution

The distribution of molybdenum mines in China, in terms of large regions, is topped by the central and southern part of the country, which accounts for 35.7% of the national molybdenum reserves. It is followed by Northeast China with 19.5%, Northwest China with 14.9%, East China with 13.9%, North China with 12%, and Southwest China with only 4%. In terms of provinces (regions), Henan has the most reserves, accounting for 29.9% of the country's total molybdenum reserves, followed by Shaanxi with 13.6% and Jilin with 13%. Another province (region) with more reserves: Shandong accounted for 6.7%, Hebei accounted for 6.6%, Jiangxi accounted for 4%, Liaoning accounted for 3.7%, Inner Mongolia accounted for 3.6%. The above eight provinces (regions) accounted for 81.1% of the total reserves of molybdenum mines in the country, of which the top three provinces of Henan, Shaanxi and Jilin accounted for 56.5%.
