Ethiopian Client Visits GNEE Factory
Feb 06, 2026
Recently, a technical procurement team from the Ethiopian National Engineering and Construction Company visited the GNEE Titanium Industry production base to conduct on-site inspections and technical exchanges regarding the titanium materials required for their key infrastructure projects. After a comprehensive evaluation, both parties reached a cooperative intent for the procurement of titanium plates and tubes.
The inspection team first entered the rolling workshop to observe the production process of GR1 titanium plates on-site. The client focused on the quality control of the plate surfaces and used professional instruments to test the thickness uniformity of the plates. In the tube production area, technical staff demonstrated the cold rolling forming process of titanium tubes, and the client showed particular interest in the dimensional accuracy control of the tubes.
During the material testing phase, the laboratory conducted corrosion tests simulating high-altitude climatic conditions based on local environmental data provided by the client. The results showed that the annual corrosion rate of titanium materials in Ethiopia's typical environment is below 0.002 mm, fully meeting long-term usage requirements. The client also specifically verified the performance stability of the materials under significant temperature variations.

The quality control center presented the complete traceability system to the client. By scanning the product identification codes, the entire process data-from raw material intake to finished product shipment-can be retrieved instantly, including key information such as chemical composition analysis and mechanical performance test records for each batch of materials. This transparent quality management system received the client's approval.
Based on the on-site inspection results, both parties clarified product specifications, technical standards, and delivery schedules, and agreed to proceed with specific business negotiations. This exchange has created a favorable beginning for GNEE's titanium materials to enter the Ethiopian market and has provided new opportunities for participating in infrastructure construction projects in Africa. As Africa's industrialization progresses, GNEE will continue to provide high-quality titanium material solutions to international clients.
