UAE Client Visits GNEE, Completes On-Site Factory Inspection And Order Confirmation
Feb 06, 2026
Recently, the purchasing and quality team from the UAE Industrial Group visited the GNEE Titanium production base for a one-day technical verification and business negotiations regarding the special specifications of titanium materials required for their seawater desalination project.
The visiting team proceeded directly to the production area, focusing on the corrosion resistance of titanium materials in high-temperature and high-salt environments. In the plate rolling workshop, the client used a portable spectrometer to conduct on-site composition testing of the GR2 titanium plates being processed, confirming that impurity levels were controlled within 60% of the standard requirements. In the tube forming area, the technical team demonstrated the cold rolling process for thick-walled titanium tubes, with the client paying particular attention to the surface finish control of the tubes' inner walls.
Simultaneously, the laboratory prepared simulation tests. Based on the Arabian Gulf water quality analysis report provided by the client, technicians prepared a test solution with a chloride ion concentration of 80,000 ppm and conducted a 96-hour continuous corrosion test on GR1 titanium tube samples alongside comparison materials brought by the client. The test results showed that the corrosion rate of the titanium material samples was only 0.0015 mm/year, fully meeting the project's 30-year design life requirements.

In the quality traceability center, the client reviewed the full-process data records of products recently exported to the Middle East. The digital quality management system implemented by GNEE provides real-time monitoring data for every stage, from sponge titanium raw materials to finished product shipment, including complete information chains such as smelting batches, hot processing parameters, and non-destructive testing results.
After a full day of validation, both parties confirmed the procurement specifications for the first batch of titanium plates and tubes that evening and reached an agreement for long-term supply cooperation. This collaboration marks the official entry of GNEE's titanium materials into the UAE seawater desalination engineering sector, laying a solid foundation for participating in large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East region.
