1. Check whether there are any obvious flaws on the surface of the board. The surface of the decorative board should be smooth and clean, without burrs or slicing marks, without glue leakage or board surface contamination (such as local blackening or yellowing). Try to choose boards with no cracks, cracks, knots, or skin on the surface. For resin capsules and gum channels, the natural warpage of the entire board should be as small as possible to avoid sand penetration through the base material due to improper sanding process.
2. Understand the difference between thin wood veneer and natural wood veneer veneer. The former's board texture is basically a straight texture, and the texture pattern is regular; the latter's board has a natural wood pattern, and the texture pattern is naturally highly variable and irregular.
3. Appearance inspection of the plate. The appearance of decorative boards should have good aesthetics. The materials should be fine and even, with clear colors and beautiful wood grains. The textures of the boards and parquets should be arranged according to certain rules, with similar wood colors, and the seams and board edges should be nearly parallel.
4. The structure of the glue layer of the board is stable and there is no glue opening. It should be noted that there should be no bulging or delamination between the veneer and the base material on the surface of the board and between the layers inside the base material.
5. Choose boards with low formaldehyde emission. Do not choose decorative boards with a pungent smell. Because the greater the smell of the board, the higher the formaldehyde release, the more severe the pollution, and the greater the hazard.
