Gr5 Titanium Coil Strip
Grade 5 titanium strip is made from ASTM B265 UNS R65400 with a nominal composition of Ti-6Al-4V and is available in straight cut lengths or coil types. In general, it is a Gr. 5 Ti product with a thickness of 0.187 inches (4.75 mm) and a width of 24 inches (610 mm).

Ti 6al-4v Gr 5 plate is strong and heat treatable. It has good ductility, good machinability and weldability. The composition of 90 per cent titanium is corrosion-resistant and has high mechanical properties. The sheets are also available in different forms, such as foils and coils. grade 5 titanium coils can be operated at low temperatures as well as high temperatures up to 427 degrees Celsius. The material is a two-phase alloy. Its crystal structure has alpha and beta phases. The material can be used under annealed or solid solution heating conditions.
