Description
Grade 7 titanium contains lower levels of impurity elements, improving its biocompatibility and safety in medical applications. In addition to inheriting the general corrosion resistance properties of titanium alloys, Grade 7 titanium performs better in specific corrosive environments, such as resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting. Compared to Grade 5, Grade 7 titanium has better toughness while maintaining high strength, reducing the tendency to cold cracking and making it suitable for parts that require complex moulding.
