Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni is a specific titanium alloy formulation containing approximately 0.3% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.8% nickel (Ni).
Description
Grade 12 titanium foil is manufactured from a Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni alloy, a medium-strength titanium alloy specifically developed for enhanced corrosion resistance in reducing and weakly reducing environments. This alloy bridges the performance gap between commercially pure titanium and high-alloy materials, offering higher strength and corrosion resistance at an economical price. The addition of molybdenum and nickel significantly improves its crevice corrosion resistance in hot chloride solutions and enhances its performance in dilute reducing acids. Our Grade 12 titanium foil is available in thicknesses from 0.025 mm to 0.5 mm, in both roll and sheet forms, combining excellent formability and superior corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications in chemical, desalination, marine engineering, and power generation industries.

The addition of molybdenum improves the melting point and thermal stability of the material, allowing this titanium foil to maintain good mechanical properties at higher temperatures.
