Pure Titanium Strip Coil
Any titanium product less than 4.75 mm thick and less than 610 mm wide is classified as titanium strip. Titanium foil is typically much thinner than titanium strip, often ranging from 0.01 mm to 0.10 mm thick. Both titanium strip and titanium foil can be packaged into coils, which is where the term "titanium coil" comes from.
Description
These materials can be manufactured by either hot or cold rolling processes. Generally, titanium strip, foil and coils should be supplied in the annealed condition, but in some cases they can be supplied in the rolled or cold processed condition, with or without cut edges. In particular, cold-rolled titanium strip coils are available in thicknesses from 0.30 to 4.75 mm and in widths from 500 to 1500 mm.

Titanium strips (foils, coils) are usually manufactured in accordance with ASTM B265/ ASME SB-265. There are also some equivalent standards including AMS 4900~4902, AMS 4905~4919, SAE MAM 2242, MIL-T-9046 (Military), ASTM F67/ F136 (Surgical implants), JIS H4600 & TIS 7912 (Japanese), D 5577 (South Korean), EN 2517/ EN 2525~EN 2528 (European), DIN 17860 (German), AIR 9182 (French), British Standards, GB/T 26723/ GB/T 3621-3622 (Chinese).
