Description
With moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance and formability, Titanium Grade 2 represents the most widely used form of titanium. Compared to the other grades of commercially pure titanium, Grade 2 titanium is slightly weaker than Grade 3, but stronger than Grade 1 and equally resistant to corrosion. These properties account for Grade 2 titanium's versatility in regard to its applications. Titanium is a low density material with a high strength to weight ratio.
