There are two main methods for producing titanium pipe billet: one is the drilling and extrusion process, the process of metal loss is high, the complexity of the melting and extrusion process, so its cost is relatively high, but the pipe wall thickness is uniform; the other is the slant rolling and perforation process, the metal consumption is lower, but the billet thickness tolerance is larger. When the specifications of a single, larger batch, the use of oblique rolling, perforation method of production of titanium pipe billet can be better economic efficiency.
