Similar to Grade 2, Titanium Grade 7 (UNS R52400) has similar physical and mechanical properties and is a Pd addition to Grde2 titanium.Ti-Pd alloy Grade 7 has excellent weldability and machinability, and is most resistant to corrosion in reducing acids.Grade 7 titanium tubing/pipe is available in seamless and welded tubing as specified by ASTM B338.

These grade 7 titanium welded tubes are also used as grade 7 titanium heat exchange tubes in power plants. Titanium alloy grade 7 pipes have a high specific gravity with a liquefaction point of 1725'C, which allows the use of ASTM B778 titanium grade 7 welded pipes in the development of flow motors.
