Grade5 Titanium Seamless Tubing, formally known as Ti-6Al-4V (Titanium 6 Aluminum 4 Vanadium), is a widely used alpha+beta type titanium alloy. It is one of the most common of all titanium alloys and is used in several industries for its excellent all-around performance.
Description
Grade 5 titanium alloys have a high strength-to-weight ratio, being approximately twice as strong as pure titanium, while maintaining good toughness for structural components that need to withstand high pressures or dynamic loads. Like other titanium alloys, Grade 5 is extremely resistant to a wide range of corrosive media, including seawater, chloride solutions, and a wide range of acidic and alkaline environments, making it a suitable material for the chemical and marine industries.
