ERTi-1 ERTi-2 ERTi-3 Pure Titanium Welding Wire
ERTi-1, ERTi-2, and ERTi-3 are different grades of pure titanium wires that are widely used in welding of titanium and its alloys, especially in chemical, aerospace, and offshore applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance and strength-to-weight ratio.
Description
ERTi-1 (Grade 1).
This is the softest and most ductile grade of pure titanium wire, with the lowest strength and highest ductility. It is suitable for welding applications requiring low mechanical strength, high formability and where corrosion resistance is a major concern, such as chemical processing equipment, heat exchangers, etc.

ERTi-2 (Grade 2).
This is a general-purpose grade of pure titanium wire with a good balance of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, slightly harder and stronger than ERTi-1. Widely used in applications requiring moderate strength and good weldability, such as seawater treatment equipment, pharmaceutical equipment, and some cryogenic vessels, ERTi-2 is also the preferred grade for fabricating a wide variety of titanium consumer products and structural components because of its combination of good processability and corrosion resistance.
ERTi-3 (Grade 3).
Compared to ERTi-1 and ERTi-2, ERTi-3 offers higher strength and better high-temperature performance, yet retains the lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties of titanium. It is suitable for applications requiring higher mechanical strength, such as aerospace structural components, heat exchanger tubing, high pressure vessels, and certain chemical equipment. Welding ERTi-3 may require more careful process control to prevent weld cracking, especially in thick plates or under high stress conditions.
