Description
GR5 titanium wire has a high strength-to-weight ratio, being approximately twice as strong as stainless steel at approximately half the density, which makes it an ideal material for use in aerospace applications for aircraft structural components, rocket engine parts, etc. to reduce weight and maintain high strength. Titanium and its alloys are naturally resistant to a wide range of corrosive media, and GR5 is no exception. It is highly resistant to seawater, chloride solutions and other corrosive media, and is therefore widely used in marine engineering, chemical equipment, offshore oil and gas extraction, and medical devices.
