Description

7075 aluminum alloy exhibits unique processing characteristics in CNC machining. Its high zinc content (5.1-6.1%) easily produces long chips during cutting, requiring specialized chip breaking solutions. Using specialized aluminum alloy tools with a 10° rake angle and a spindle speed exceeding 8000 rpm achieves optimal surface quality. When machined in the T651 state, this material exhibits aging deformation within 0.01 mm/100 mm, making it particularly suitable for machining precision instrument bases.
