Gr5 eli titanium is a low-iron, low-oxygen medical titanium alloy. Compared with gr5, its strength is reduced, but its toughness can be significantly improved. Gr5 Eli has good plasticity, toughness, good welding performance, and low-temperature performance.
Gr5eli is an ideal metal for medical devices and implants because of its good biocompatibility, low weight, durability, and corrosion resistance. During the melting process, interstitial elements such as iron and oxygen are strictly controlled. Gr5eli medical titanium ingot smelting requires three smeltings, and high-grade sponge titanium is selected. Grade 0 or 0A sponge titanium is required; industrial smelting generally uses secondary smelting.
