Ti-6AL-4V Eli Gr23 Titanium Bar is a medical grade titanium alloy widely used in a variety of medical applications. This alloy is known for its excellent biocompatibility as well as its low modulus of elasticity and density, similar to that of human bone. The biocompatibility of Gr23 makes it well suited for use in dental implants, orthopedic implants and surgical instruments.
Gr23 is a titanium alloy consisting of 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. It is a superior choice to Gr5 which is more commonly used in the medical industry. Although Gr5 is also a strong and durable titanium alloy, it does not have the same level of biocompatibility as Gr23.
