Application Of Gr7 Titanium Alloy Casting
Apr 11, 2024
Gr7 titanium alloy casting refers to titanium alloys used for casting into a certain shape castings. Most deformed titanium alloys have good casting properties. One of the most widely used is Ti-6A1-4V alloy. It has the best casting process performance and stable organization, and has good strength (5σb ≥ 890MPa) and fracture toughness below 350℃.
The operating temperature of cast titanium alloy is generally 300-400℃. Generally used vacuum condensing shell furnace and graphite type melting casting method. Mainly used for casting aero-engine magazine, supporting sorghum, guide blades and other non-rotating parts, can also be used for casting impellers and other rotating parts.
