Description
Nickel alloys are ideally suited for heat exchangers in the chemical processing and nuclear industries. They are used in steam generator pipework for the nuclear power industry, in high temperature aircraft systems and in oil and gas extraction projects where corrosion, pressure and temperature resistant pipework is required. Their corrosion resistance also allows them to be used in desalination equipment.

UNS N10276 Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a high degree of corrosion resistance in a variety of industries. It has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in harsh environments. The alloy is widely used in the chemical processing, power generation, pollution control and petrochemical industries. ASTM B619, B622, B474 and B626 standards provide specifications for Hastelloy C276 pipe.
