R05240, Tantalum, 60% Tantalum, 40% Niobium, E-beam furnace or vacuum arc melting.
Products Description
Tantalum foil and Tantalum tape are made of dark blue-gray Tantalum metal, which is heavy, ductile, hard and highly resistant to corrosion. Tantalum foil is particularly resistant to chemicals at temperatures below 150 °C and can only be dissolved with hydrofluoric acid. With the fourth highest melting point of all metals, Tantalum foils are able to form an extremely thin protective oxide layer for high-quality capacitors, making them an excellent material for foils.
