Description
AMS 4907 Titanium is mainly composed of titanium, accounting for up to 91%. Additionally, it contains 6% aluminum (Al) and 4% vanadium (V). In this instance, ELI represents Extra Low Interstitials. This classification of Ti 6-4 is regarded as purer than regular Ti 6-4. Although the two titanium alloys are similar, Ti 6-4 ELI is distinct in that it contains less oxygen (O), with the maximum amount limited to 0.13%. In standard Ti 6-4, the oxygen amount typically reaches a maximum of 2.0%. Ti 6-4 ELI also has less iron (Fe) and carbon (C).
