Description
UNS R52400 Gr7 metallic titanium rods have excellent physical and mechanical properties, and are particularly resistant to corrosion, especially to acidic media, due to the addition of palladium. This alpha-type titanium alloy, with a palladium content of between 0.12% and 0.25%, has process and mechanical properties similar to those of industrially pure titanium, but is highly resistant to corrosion in hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid Nitric acid, high chlorides and other corrosive media, but with excellent corrosion resistance. Compared with GR1, GR2 industrial pure titanium, its annual corrosion rate in a specific corrosive environment is nearly 100 times lower.
