GR5 titanium alloy bar, also known as Ti-6Al-4V ELI (Extra Low Interstitials), is a high-strength, high-toughness titanium alloy.
Description
Grade 5 metal titanium bar has strong corrosion resistance in a wide range of media, especially in neutral and oxidising media. It has good corrosion resistance to most alkali solutions, but not in boiling sodium hydroxide solutions. Titanium alloys do not corrode in seawater and are resistant to corrosion in most organic acids (except formic acid and oxalic acid). Excellent corrosion resistance in wet chlorine gas and chloride solutions such as chlorite and hypochlorite. Corrosion resistance in sodium chloride solutions increases with the pH of the solution.

1. Workpiece installation clamping: - Titanium alloy workpiece installation clamping force should not be too large, in order to prevent deformation of the workpiece. Auxiliary support can be added if necessary.
2. Cleanliness: - When CNC machining, fixtures or all other devices must be clean to avoid the introduction of contaminants.
3. Cutting fluids: - Cutting fluids containing hydrogen should not be used as much as possible, and if they must be used, appropriate safety precautions should be taken.
